FREELANCING

In 2010 I started with freelancing in my leisure time. For international clients I made website.Soon afterwards I got in touch with Edward from DevRepublic. He was working with Brazilian developers, but he was curious about the Indian way of working. We did some successful projects together and there was also a personal click.

We hatched wild plans to start together DevRepublic India. In September 2011 the plans came true: DevRepublic was born. We started with 4 developers in a small office and caught nice international clients as BP, Wild Bean Cafe and AGA Gas.

  • The Secretary/Treasurer is responsible for collecting the chapter fees, used for paying for the meeting venue and other chapter related expenses. The role is quite simple and involves small amounts but it is very important to make sure the chapter can function and no member ends up owing large amounts of money.
  • Each week the Secretary/ Treasurer announces what they collect and why, how much the chapter has on hand and if it sufficient for the purposes it is collected for.

  • - Why does traffic lights exist…tracking of progress…what gets measured gets achieved
  • - Dream to have 100% green chapter.
  • - Shall send individual traffic lights to each member along with guiding them to achieve next level.
  • - Work from the bottom have zero grey chapter. Get in touch with new members and make them understool to carry out basic acitivities to be out of grey from the very first month. (Ariving on time, attend all meetings and have 3 trainings in first month, with 2 nos 1-2-1 each week)
  • - Work on individual basis , best way is to carry 1-2-1 with selected members need personal attension or group discussion with all grey/red/amber/green members.
  • - Recognise green members and top scorers fron the chapter after each month report received.
